Menfred’s journey started with classical ensemble training and traditional erhu playing, learning standard scores and techniques. Joining Artusik Academy opened doors to new cultures, sounds, and collaborative ways of making music.
Guided by mentors and peers, Menfred has grown into a confident musician, performing in multi-ethnic ensembles both locally and abroad. The Academy has helped him develop adaptability, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of multicultural music, shaping him into a cultural ambassador of Singapore’s diverse musical heritage.
